Biography
Dr. Andrew Bradford is a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine. He has over 25 years of medical experience in primary and secondary care. He manages a wide range of symptoms related to neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis, chronic pain management, spasticity, insomnia, neurorehabilitation, and fibromyalgia.
Dr. Bradford has a biomedical science degree, followed by a medical qualification from the University of Dundee obtained in 1994. He has an extensive educational background, with further training in stroke medicine, clinical research, and GP training which he completed in 2002. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from the University of Glasgow and an MD focused on stroke care from the University of Dundee. Additionally, Dr. Bradford pursued a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of East London.
His career has encompassed roles such as a consultant in rehabilitation medicine at The Walkergate Park Hospital in Newcastle, where he also served as the clinical lead for dystonia. Dr. Bradford’s experience spans primary and secondary care settings where he has addressed substance misuse, pain management, disability, and complex health conditions. He is a pioneer in innovative treatment methods in rehabilitation and pain management, including the utilisation of plant components. He has a wide range of experience in psychotherapeutic approaches for recovery and well-being.
